Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any coaching services with tSerenity Coaching ("we," "us," "our"). 

By booking a session or purchasing a coaching package, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. SERVICES PROVIDED

tSerenity Coaching offers transformational coaching services that use birth chart analysis and other assessment tools as diagnostic methods to identify patterns and facilitate personal growth. Our services include:

- Pattern Clarity Calls

- Breakthrough Clarity Sessions

- Operating System Intensive (3-session package)

- Complete Transformation Package (6-session package)

All services are provided by Theresa Schickel, a certified coach with credentials from Georgetown University, UC Berkeley, and the International Coach Federation (ICF).

2. PAYMENT TERMS

2.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe at the time of booking. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the stated amount for the service(s) you are purchasing.

2.2 Payment Required to Book

Payment in full is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. No session will be confirmed until payment is received.

2.3 Package Payments

For multi-session packages (Operating System Intensive and Complete Transformation Package):

- Full payment is required when booking Session 1

- Payment covers all sessions in the package

- Private booking links for subsequent sessions will be provided after Session 1

- No additional payment is required for Sessions 2-6

2.4 Pricing

All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change. You will be charged the price displayed at the time of booking. Launch pricing (if applicable) is valid only during the specified promotional period.

2.5 Payment Plans

Payment plans may be available for the Complete Transformation Package. Contact us at contact@tserenity.com before booking to inquire about payment plan options.

3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

3.1 Single Sessions (Pattern Clarity Call, Breakthrough Session)

Cancel 48+ hours before scheduled session:

- Full refund issued to original payment method

- Processing time: 5-10 business days

Cancel 24-48 hours before scheduled session:

- 50% credit issued toward future session (valid for 6 months)

- No refund to original payment method

Cancel less than 24 hours before or No-Show:

- No refund or credit issued

- Session is forfeited

3.2 Multi-Session Packages (Intensive, Transformation Package)

Before Session 1:

- Cancel 72+ hours before Session 1: Full refund

- Cancel 48-72 hours before Session 1: 50% refund

- Cancel less than 48 hours before Session 1: No refund

After Session 1 Has Occurred:

- Packages are non-refundable once Session 1 is completed

- Remaining sessions can be rescheduled (see Section 4)

- Unused sessions expire 6 months from purchase date

Individual Session Cancellations Within Package:

- Cancel 48+ hours before scheduled session: Free reschedule

- Cancel 24-48 hours before: May reschedule once (subject to availability)

- Cancel less than 24 hours or No-Show: Session is forfeited (counts as completed)

3.3 Emergency Exceptions

Medical emergencies or family crises will be considered on a case-by-case basis with appropriate documentation. Contact us immediately at (562) 645-6808 or contact@tserenity.com.

3.4 Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days.

4. SCHEDULING AND RESCHEDULING

4.1 Initial Booking

All sessions must be booked through our Calendly scheduling system or by contacting us directly.

4.2 Rescheduling Policy

Single Sessions:

- First reschedule with 48+ hours notice: Free

- Additional reschedules: $47 administrative fee per change

- Reschedules with less than 48 hours notice: Subject to availability and $47 fee

Package Sessions:

- One free reschedule per session with 48+ hours notice

- Additional reschedules: $47 administrative fee per change

- Must be rescheduled within the 6-month package validity period

4.3 Rescheduling Process

To reschedule, email contact@tserenity.com or text (562) 645-6808 with your name, scheduled session time, and preferred new time.

4.4 Our Right to Reschedule

We reserve the right to reschedule sessions due to emergency, illness, or unforeseen circumstances. We will provide as much notice as possible and work with you to find an alternative time.

5. NO-SHOW POLICY

If you miss your scheduled session without prior notice:

- Session is forfeited (no refund or reschedule)

- For package clients: Session counts as completed

- Must pay $97 rebooking fee to schedule future sessions

We understand emergencies happen. If you have a genuine emergency, contact us immediately at (562) 645-6808 and we will work with you.

6. PACKAGE TERMS

6.1 Coaching Agreement Required

All multi-session packages (Operating System Intensive and Complete Transformation Package) require a signed Coaching Agreement before Session 1. 

- You will receive the Coaching Agreement via email after booking

- Agreement must be signed and returned at least 24 hours before Session 1

- Session 1 cannot proceed without a signed agreement

- Single sessions (Pattern Clarity Call, Breakthrough Session) do not require a separate agreement beyond these Terms and Conditions

6.2 Validity Period

- Operating System Intensive (3 sessions): Valid for 6 months from purchase date

- Complete Transformation Package (6 sessions): Valid for 6 months from purchase date

6.3 Session Expiration

Unused sessions expire after 6 months with no refund or extension, except in cases of documented medical emergency.

6.4 Non-Transferable

Package sessions are non-transferable to another person.

6.5 Recommended Scheduling

Sessions should be scheduled approximately 2 weeks apart to allow for integration between sessions. Flexibility is available based on your needs.

7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

7.1 Accurate Information

You are responsible for providing accurate birth information (name, date, time, location) for chart analysis. Inaccurate information may affect the quality of insights provided.

7.2 Preparation

You agree to:

- Complete all intake forms at least 24 hours before your session

- Be in a private, quiet space for your session

- Have a stable internet connection (for virtual sessions)

- Be present and engaged during sessions

- Complete integration work between sessions (for packages)

7.3 Participation

You acknowledge that coaching requires active participation and that results depend on your willingness to engage in the process and implement recommended strategies.

7.4 Technical Requirements

For virtual sessions via Zoom, you are responsible for:

- Having necessary technology (computer, tablet, or smartphone)

- Stable internet connection

- Working camera and microphone

- Testing your connection before the session

8. CONFIDENTIALITY

8.1 Our Commitment

All information shared during coaching sessions is kept strictly confidential, except as required by law or in cases where there is imminent danger to yourself or others.

8.2 Session Recordings

Sessions are recorded for your personal reference only. You may not share, distribute, or publish these recordings without written permission.

8.3 Testimonials and Case Studies

We may request permission to use anonymized testimonials or case studies for marketing purposes. Your personal information will never be shared without your explicit written consent.

9. COACHING RELATIONSHIP AND BOUNDARIES

9.1 Nature of Coaching

Coaching is a professional relationship designed to support your personal and relational growth. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment.

9.2 Not Therapy or Medical Advice

Our services do not replace professional mental health care, medical treatment, or legal advice. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any mental or physical conditions.

9.3 When to Seek Other Help

If you are experiencing:

- Severe depression or anxiety

- Suicidal thoughts

- Trauma requiring specialized treatment

- Substance abuse issues

- Eating disorders

- Any mental health crisis

Please seek appropriate professional help. We can provide referrals if needed.

9.4 Between-Session Communication

Email support is included as specified in your package. Response time is typically within 48 business hours. Email support is for brief questions and integration support, not emergency communication.

10. RESULTS DISCLAIMER

10.1 No Guaranteed Outcomes

While we are committed to supporting your growth and transformation, we cannot guarantee specific results. Your outcomes depend on many factors including your commitment, effort, and circumstances.

10.2 Individual Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your own decisions and actions. We provide guidance and support, but you retain full responsibility for implementing (or not implementing) any strategies discussed.

10.3 Astrological Information

Birth chart analysis is used as a diagnostic tool to identify patterns and tendencies. It is not predictive, deterministic, or fortune-telling. You always have free will and the ability to change patterns.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

11.1 No Liability for Outcomes

We are not liable for any decisions you make or actions you take based on coaching sessions, including but not limited to decisions regarding relationships, career, finances, or health.

11.2 Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

11.3 Indirect Damages

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

12. CONDUCT AND TERMINATION

12.1 Professional Conduct

We maintain professional boundaries and expect the same from clients. Inappropriate behavior, harassment, or abuse will not be tolerated.

12.2 Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to terminate the coaching relationship at any time if:

- You violate these Terms and Conditions

- You engage in inappropriate or abusive behavior

- We determine the coaching relationship is not beneficial

- You require services beyond our scope of practice

12.3 Refund Upon Termination

If we terminate services:

- Completed sessions are non-refundable

- Unused sessions in packages may be refunded on a case-by-case basis

If you terminate services:

- Standard cancellation and refund policies apply

- No refunds for completed sessions

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

13.1 Proprietary Materials

All materials provided during coaching (worksheets, exercises, frameworks, etc.) are proprietary and for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell these materials.

13.2 Session Content

The content, insights, and strategies discussed in sessions are confidential and proprietary. You may not record sessions without permission or share session content publicly.

14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

14.1 Informal Resolution

If you have any concerns or disputes, please contact us first at contact@tserenity.com. We are committed to resolving issues informally whenever possible.

14.2 Mediation

If informal resolution is not successful, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.

14.3 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

15.1 Right to Modify

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date.

15.2 Notice of Changes

Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients.

15.3 Continued Use

Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. PRIVACY POLICY

17. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and tSerenity Coaching regarding our services.
